Why BTS4000?

If you have taken your precious time to read what we posted before about the best-selling Neware products, you may find that the top 3 models are all from BTS4000 series, and they all have dual ranges. Why?

Neware has several primary series products: BTS3000n, BTS4000, BTS8000, BTS9000, and IGBT7000. BTS is short for Battery Testing System, and IGBT is short for Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor. Among these different series, sales volume of BTS4000 is up to nearly 80% of all. Intriguingly, it is agreement with the Pareto’s principle (20/80 rule). Some main BTS4000 models have dual ranges, such as BTS4000-5V10mA, 5V20mA, 5V50mA, 5V6A, and 5V12A. Dual-ranges means greater precision and wider application in one machine. For example, the dual ranges of BTS4000-5V6A are 0.5-100mA, 100mA-6A, because the accuracy of this model is ±0.05% of FS, the current accuracy of the first range is 100mA * 0.05% = 0.05mA, and second range is 3mA. 60 times difference! For this reason, once customers want to use it to test coin cell, they don’t have to buy lower current testers due to the accuracy, because the accuracy of the model will shift to 0.05mA automatically at that time!

Why is BTS4000 the most popular? There are many reasons. Maybe it is  the price,  promotion, scope of application, or other reasons. Please leave a comment, and let me know what you think or what we can improve.

By the way, Neware does not just have double ranges, in particular, BTS8000 and BTS9000 even have 4 ranges! We will discuss these two high-performance series later.
